Over the course of his career, West performed in over 1,500 films, becoming a staple in iconic adult film series such as Up and Cummers and Raw Sex. In 1993, West transitioned from performing to directing, a move that saw him create over 250 films. His contributions as a director helped shape the careers of numerous performers, solidifying his place as an influential figure in the industry.

Beyond adult cinema, West briefly stepped into mainstream Hollywood when he body-doubled for Robert Redford in the film Indecent Proposal (1993). His crossover moment highlighted his versatility and appeal beyond the adult industry.
