AN award-winning Brazilian porn star has died after reportedly fighting for her life for three months having allegedly been stabbed during a row with her drug-addled flatmate.

Adult actress Luane Honorio de Souza Rios, 28, passed away in hospital in the city of Duque de Caxias, in Rio de Janeiro state, south-eastern Brazil.

Rios, who in 2016 was voted best new starlet in the Brazilian “Sexy Hot Awards”, had been stabbed multiple times in the neck during an alleged argument with her housemate in the house they shared.

She was admitted to an intensive care unit in a serious condition with a suspected airway perforation in the early hours of May 25

A social media user has said she spent her three months in hospital in a coma, although this has not been confirmed by officials.

Meanwhile her housemate will be charged with murder. She has not yet been arrested.

But a warrant is set to be issued in the coming days, according to local police.

The suspect has not been named, but local police have revealed that she is a drug addict and that she was under the influence of drugs when the crime took place.

Rios was a native of Rio de Janeiro and had been a porn actress since 2016, when she took part in the Brazilian pornographic reality TV show “Casa das Brasileirinhas”.

She was known professionally as Aline Rios.

In the same year, she won a “Sexy Hot” award for her role in the film “Porno Fantasy 2”.

She was buried on September 3, without a funeral service. People who allegedly knew Rios have described her as “kind”, “intelligent” and “good-hearted” on social media.
